Grand Zen

Communication was excellent from the minute we booked. We were delighted when Petros very kindly allowed us to check in three hours early. The apartment is stunning in every way. We spent hours on the wonderful balcony, gazing at the Gulf of Mirabello. The location is great as the very good supermarket is only a few steps away and there are excellent bakeries and restaurants close by if you don’t feel like going into town. The owners were available if we needed them but granted us our privacy which we greatly appreciated.

There was nothing we didn’t like. This is one of the best apartments we have stayed in and we have travelled to Crete many times.

Ruim en luxe appartement op 2e etage en een prachtig uitzicht op zee. Supermarkt en parkeerplaats vlakbij. Mooie slaapkamers met airco en 3 badkamers. Gezellige plaats Agios Nikolaos op 20 minuten wandelen van appartement.

Everything was perfect at Grand Zen. Host very helpful. Accomodation is first class (comfy beds, spotless, well-equipped) and is close to beaches and restaurants, with supermarket across the road. It’s also near to public transport. Lovely and quiet with views of the sea. Water and fruit were left for us which was a nice touch. Perfect stay👍

Basically, everything. Petros, the host, was very attentive to any request and even offered us a free visit to a nearby waterpark. The beds (2) were king-size and very comfortable - a bit on the stiffer side, which we prefer over too soft. Another room with a small bed. Everything is brand new. There's a great washing machine which came in handy. the pictures are accurate, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. Each room had its own smart tv, which allowed easy connections to netflix and many other streaming services. The wifi was also stable and fast enough for all TVs to work simultaneously.

If I have to nitpick, a dishwasher would have been nice, but hand washing the dishes isn't that much of a fuss.
