Excellent central location for visiting Great Central Railway. Very clean and comfortable, especially the beds. Well equipped kitchen and off road parking.

Nothing really. The central heating was difficult to operate - we sorted it by day2!! The owners were helpful via email and replied very promptly.

Charmigt renoverat hus med bra läge. Mysig trädgård, som vi dock inte utnyttjade med tanke på årstiden. Sköna sängar och bra förvaring. Fanns det vi behövde i köket och praktiskt med lite kryddor, diskmedel, te m m. Vi fick snabba besked om vi hade några frågor.

Svårt att få värme, men vi är ju bortskämda i Sverige. Saknade verkligen spegel på toaletten.

Stylish property with all mod cons and obtaining access to the property was easy. Some complimentary chocs and mini toiletries were provided which was a nice touch. Location perfect for us as near to where our son is living whom we were visiting. A 15 minute walk to Loughborough Town Centre. Drive way parking which was a big plus for us. A nice garden with garden furniture which will be lovely to use in the summer. There is so much potential in this property to give a much higher review next time if the niggles outlined below are addressed. We'd love to book again to do so :)

We arrived late as we got stuck in traffic. It was late Oct 25 & the property was very cold. We saw a folder & thought it will give us info to get the heating on & access the wifi password. All we wanted to do was chill with some drinks before going to bed. The folder did not give us this info. It’s a smart heating system & being of a certain age we had no idea how to turn it on. I messaged the host and didn't get a reply & called the mobile number which went to voice mail. I eventually found a landline number which I called and was thankful that the host answered. We were told that there should have been a picture frame with QR codes to download the property info & one for the wifi. It wasn't there! Please sort that out. The host text it over. All our phones had little charge by now, so this was quite a feat to accomplish without wifi. It took another half an hour to get the heating on & access the TV services. The kitchen has no radiator, so it was nippy all weekend. The other niggles revolved around the bathroom. Firstly, there is no mirror in the bathroom at all. One over the sink is a must as my husband couldn't have a shave & I & my daughter couldn't do our skin care routine. Another big issue is there is nowhere to put your toiletries down as they slide off the sink & there isn't enough room anyway & also difficult to have a wash easily. Same for the shower. The sill next to the bath is too far away to be of use. I ended up doing skin care in the bedroom but again nowhere to put them down to reach near the mirror & I was terrified my creams would drop on the carpet. Once the bathroom mirror is over the sink, this table from Ikea or similar placed in front of the bathroom radiator would fix the issue to reach toiletries/sponges, https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/hemnes-bedside-table-white-stain-20200456/
