The location is great along the Kumano Kodo, there is a supermarket nearby, you can get breakfast at a nearby cafe and the owners are kind and polite.

Gute Lage, sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, sehr sauber
Frühstück war sehr klein. Nur zwei Buttertoast, eine Handvoll Salat, ein Kleck Joghurt. Zweiten Kaffee gab es auf Nachfrage. Wir wandern täglich, da muss das Essen entsprechend sein.

Very welcoming owner, regardless of the language barrier it was clear she tried everything to help us. Very clean, measured utilities, and good dinner.
The athmosphere and the price. Rooms were very outdated, and while the owner tried everything to make us more comfortable, the place felt like it was worth half of the money compared to other accommodations we had in Japan.
