Nice and friendly host!

Very cozy and clean. Good location - not too far from the beach. Good value for money. Amazing air con in the bedroom. The owner was lovely, considerate and made our stay much more enjoyable!

Mainly love the people I met. Takami and other guests were friendly and hospitable. It was at a very convenient location as well near the beach. Loved it so much that i requested another night the day before and she accomodated it! Even played mario kart with the host lol

The WiFi is only available on first floor. Shower’s a little old-school

The woman who runs it was very sweet. She picked us up from the train station. The bathroom was clean and there was air-conditioning in the rooms. There was also a shared kitchenette.

The rooms smelled very badly of either dust or old tatami. It's an old Japanese house that has been converted into a guesthouse. There's pretty much zero privacy between the rooms. The locks on the doors were basically nonexistent. I did not feel comfortable leaving any belingings in the room and felt there was little to no protection had anyone tried to get in. The final thing was the shower. Let's just say it's rustic. All of those things can be expected with an old guesthouse, and I don't think I'd have a problem with it if the price of the room was cheaper. I paid 12,000 yen for a room when I could have paid just a couple thousand yen more for a room closer to the beach with more privacy, security and amenities.
