Cosy Stamford Flat - Walk to Burghley & More

Rooms were a nice size, felt like a home from home. Close to the shops and a park.

It's not that big a deal but getting up the stairs is a bit awkward with bags as they are steep and narrow.

I came to Stamford specifically to visit Burghley House - and this property was perfectly located for it; within about a half-hour, very pleasant walk. Much quieter than any of the central town locations, so sleep wasn't an issue at all. Nice and warm - very welcome on a cold October weekend! Good kitchen facilities if you want to cook, and plenty of bedding and cushions/pillows. Really like the bathroom decor, and the shower was fantastic (great pressure and hot water always available). Jerry left biccies and milk and was always on hand for any questions. Supermarkets and shops just 5-10 mins walk from the flat. Would definitely stay again.

I actually think this is one of the best accommodations in Stamford for a short visit, so to find fault with anything would seem nit-picky!

Lovely bright flat in a great location. Loved having a park close by for the dog and only a 5 minute walk into the historic heart of Stamford.

The flat was very conveniently located as a base for exploring the town.
