Amazing and peaceful

Lovely place, bit expensive.

The property was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The location was within easy reach of the town. The owners are very accommodating and helpful.

The kitchen was becoming a little tired, and the cleaning staff had not emptied the dishwasher from the previous guests. A couple of items didn’t work and operating instructions were only available via an app. Unfortunately, the phone signal strength is poor.

Second stay, already booked in for a third stay!

The location is perfect for wandering in Stamford. The house itself is lovely, beautifully renovated, and it has everything you might need for a short stay. The owners are quick at responding and very reasonable about 'house rules' which can sometimes ruin a good rental. The whole vibe of this place is relaxed.

I'm really clutching at straws but the beds are a little too soft and the water pressure in both showers is low.

Beautifully presented. Very modern styling inside an historic building. Very well equipped with everything you could need. Comfortable furniture and beds. Town centre very accessible. Nice touch with a pinball machine 😀

Fantastic stay in a stylish and comfortable property

There was nothing not to like about this property. Right from the booking stage our experience was excellent. The property information guide sent in advance was excellent. Entry via a door code was seamless. The property in as beautiful as the photos, everything you need is there for a wonderful stay. Rooms were really comfortable and the design and finish are excellent. We were in Stamford for an event, so did not get to sped as much time as we would have liked in the property, as the facilities are outstanding. This is the perfect property for a self catering stay with friends or family. I think this property works well for a summer stay or a cosy winter stay too. Perfectly located within walking distance of so many nice bars and restaurants, as well as supermarkets and bespoke shops. The hosts were really responsive when we have one small issue which was down to user error lol. We were all sad to leave this lovely property.

Christmas getaway with friends

Fabulous location, excellent communication with the owner. Comfortable lounge and dining area for a group booking.

The single beds didn't offer the best comfort for 2 adults, maybe better suited to children and the ceiling in the twin room was a bit dishevelled. There were 2 air vents hanging down.

Stunning decor, lovely toiletries, spotlessly clean, excellent communications and instructions from the owners, easy to access, gorgeous welcome hamper and milk etc in the fridge, a lovely touch. Perfect location for Stamford and a wonderful home to get together with family or friends.

Beautiful high end property in central Stamford

So many things to like about this property! - large kitchen/diner and living room, which provided plenty of communal space for socialising - Beautifully decorated throughout - Fantastic location, just 5 minutes walk from central Stamford. - Great communication from the owners in the run up to our stay, including a very helpful app that covered everything we needed to know about the property, how to find it, how to use it, things to do nearby etc. - bed was super comfy! - pinball machine was a fun feature! - good quality hand wash/shower gels in the bathrooms gave it a luxury feel.

- the smart key system - we had been very excited by the high tech smart key set up in the run up, but unfortunately on the day there were some problems with the lock. The owner, Tim, did pop over immediately when we messaged him, but unfortunately after trying to fix it for half an hour, we had to resort to a normal key. - there isn’t parking immediately outside the property. Although there are free parking options 5-10mins walk away. - the bedrooms were mostly below ground level and the windows in the lounge didn’t open, so it felt like there was limited air flow throughout the property (the portable fan in the living room was helpful though)

Excellent place to spend the weekend

This property was beautifully appointed and well equipped. The host even provided White Company toiletries, which was a real treat. The location was excellent, being walking distance into the town.

Great house in a great location to explore Stamford

The granary is a beautiful spacious property, lovingly decorated to feel peaceful and relaxing with quirky features. The below ground bedrooms were lovely and cool and very comfortable. the kitchen is large and well equipped for social eating and the pin ball machine kept a few of our group entertained. The huge sofa and TV in the lounge allowed our group of five to spend time together in comfort. The house is in easy walking distance of the many bars and restaurants of Stamford, Waitrose, independent shops and walks along the river. We received really helpful and extensive information about our stay before arrival.

because of the location there isn’t outside space or parking attached to the property. But as explained in the extensive pre-stay information you can find free parking nearby or use the local car parks. We were able to pull up outside the property on arrival and departure to load and unload.

Highly recommend this property. Furnished to a high standard, we could not believe our luck. 2 minutes stroll into the centre of Stamford makes it an ideal place to stay to be near everything.
