Welcome to Marathon Sombrero Beach Villa
Your home away from home in the Florida Keys.
Our villa sits right on a canal in an exclusive, quiet part of Marathon, just three blocks from Sombrero Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Keys.
We built this place from scratch and put a lot of love into every detail. It's where we come to recharge, and we hope it becomes that for you too.
Whether you're here with family, friends, or just need a break from real life, we hope you find the space to relax, have fun, and make some great memories.
The Property
Perfect for Groups and Families
The villa comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests across six spacious bedrooms, each with its own private en-suite bathroom — so everyone has their own space and privacy.
Here's how the beds are set up:
• 2 primary suites with King beds (one on each floor)
• 1 additional King bedroom (3rd floor)
• 2 Queen bedrooms (3rd floor)
• 1 room with 2 Twin XL beds (2nd floor)
And if you need a little extra flexibility:
• 2 Twin air mattresses
• 2 portable rollaway beds
Great for big groups or multigenerational families.
For Families Traveling with Little Ones
We know how much easier a trip is when the baby gear is already there.
We provide at no extra charge:
• 2 Pack 'n Plays
• High chair
• Baby bathtub

Heated Private Pool + Private Jacuzzi/Spa
The outdoor space is honestly one of our favorite things about this villa — and we think it'll become one of yours too.
You'll have full access to a resort-style private pool and private jacuzzi/spa, available year-round.
And one of the things that sets our villa apart: complimentary heating is included.
We heat the jacuzzi all year long, both during winter months, so there's always something perfect waiting for you outside.
• Jacuzzi Heating Hours: 3–10 PM daily
• Pool Heating Hours: 24 hs
Because everything is outdoors, water temperature can be influenced by weather, wind, rain, or the occasional Florida cold front — so we like to set honest expectations upfront rather than surprises on arrival.
Typical heated pool temperatures by month:
• October: 84–88°F
• November: 82–87°F
• December: 80–85°F
• January: 78–84°F
• February: 79–85°F
• March: 82–87°F
• April: 84–88°F
The jacuzzi/spa is programmed daily during peak afternoon and evening hours and, under normal conditions, reaches those deeply relaxing temperatures of up to 104°F.
On colder or windier days, heating time and max temperature may vary slightly.
We keep everything carefully maintained so you can make the most of every swim and soak — we just can't quite control the Florida weather!

This house and property are amazing! The pictures don't do it justice. It is immaculate as far as the cleanliness. The bedrooms are gigantic, each with an amazing, well-appointed bathroom, its own balcony, and walk-in closet with custom shelving. The location was ideal as well, just a quick 5-minute drive to most anything you will need. We were able to spend all our time outside between the pool/hot tub, full outdoor kitchen/full bath, pool table, foosball table, and cornhole. The pier was perfect for docking the 2 boats we rented. If I had just 1 recommendation, we would have liked the hot tub to get a little hotter. Otherwise, I can't say enough good things about this home and property. The communication with the owner was extremely prompt, personable, and helpful as well. If we ever come back to Marathon, I would definitely rent this house again.

The pool was not heated, which is fine, however the hot tub was on a very strict schedule from 3-10pm. The warmest temperature the hot tub reached was 92 degrees during the stay, and it would usually reach it around 7pm. With the pool temp around 71-72 degrees, it was too cold to use without having the hot tub run on demand to warm up in. The owner says the settings are fixed and cannot be changed. This needs to be remedied before I would recommend anyone to stay at this property. The wifi was spotty at best. Everything else was great.

Stunning new home in a nice area of Marathon. All the bedrooms had cozy mattresses with plenty of pillows and bath towels. Our favorite spot was the pool area which is thoughtful laid out to entertain. We cooked and ate mostly downstairs. The dock is like brand new. Fit our two boats perfectly. Dock rails are wrapped so no new boat scratches. Not much boat traffic and felt very safe. Fish cleaning table, bait freezer were perfect. Manatees watched us clean fish in the evenings. Will definitely stay here again. Our group travels a lot in the keys and this has to be one of our favorite homes we stayed in.
