Rare for the town, we offer Private Parking for one car, a Hot Tub, and 2 En-Suite Bedrooms—perfect for couples or small families. Enjoy the `Urban-Rural` lifestyle: walk 5 mins to the famous Pudding Shop & pubs, then retreat to your private deck for a bubbly soak under the stars. Features a Log Burner, Smart TVs, and Nespresso machine. Dog-friendly & EV charging on-site!
Your Luxury Bakewell Basecamp Ideally positioned just a short 5-minute stroll from the vibrant centre of Bakewell, Beech Cottage offers the perfect balance of `Town & Country.` Unlike many historic cottages, we have modernized the layout to ensure total comfort and privacy for two couples or a small family.
LIVING & RELAXING
The Lounge: A cosy sanctuary featuring a real Wood Burner (log burner). We provide an initial basket of logs to ensure your first evening is toasty warm.
The Kitchen: Fully equipped with an electric oven, dishwasher, and Nespresso machine—everything you need for a self-catered stay.
Tech: High-speed Wi-Fi and Smart TVs in the lounge and both bedrooms.
SLEEPING (2 Bedrooms / 2 En-Suites) We prioritize `Equality of Experience`, no fighting over the best room!
Bedroom 1: Four-Poster Double Bed with private En-Suite (Walk-in shower).
Bedroom 2: Four-Poster Double Bed with private En-Suite (Walk-in shower).
Note: Both bedrooms feature luxury linens and robes for a spa-like feel.
OUTDOOR OASIS
The Hot Tub: Your private bubbling spa located on a secluded decking area with mood lighting. Perfect for relaxing after hiking the Monsal Trail.
The Garden: An enclosed space with seating.
Parking: A dedicated off-road parking space for 1 car at the top of the shared driveway (Absolute `Gold Dust` in Bakewell!).
EV Charging: We offer on-site EV charging (please see guide book for details).
Pets: We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs.

Bakewell: You are 0.2 miles from the town centre. Walk to The Woodyard for dinner or grab a proper Bakewell Pudding to go.
Chatsworth: The famous Chatsworth House is just a 10-minute drive (or a scenic hike) away.
Walks: Direct access to river walks along the Wye and the Monsal Trail nearby.
Getting Around
Car: Recommended for exploring the wider Peaks (Mam Tor, Kinder Scout).
Walk: You can easily enjoy a car-free weekend here as all shops, pubs, and supermarkets are walkable.
Other Things to Note
Noise: Being in a residential area, we strictly ask for quiet outside after 10 PM to respect our neighbours. for transparency the hot tub will turn off automatically between the hours of 22:30 and 06:00.
Accessibility: The property is set over two floors with stairs.
The Hot Tub will turn off automatically at 22:00 out of respect for our neighbours we must insist that noise is kept to a minimum after this time in the Hot Tub area. Thank you for your understanding!

Beech Cottage is a pet friendly property in the heart of Bakewell. It was the ideal place for us to stay for a 2 night break with our friends for a Birthday treat. Located just a 5 min walk from Bakewell centre, private parking & great walks for our dog. The cottage has everything you need, 2 bedrooms with en-suites, cosy lounge and even a private garden with hot tub. Check in was easy & the entire place was lovely and clean on arrival. The host Henry was contactable all the time making staying there a dream. I am sure we will be staying again in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family & friends

Beautifully furnished cottage in a great location. The host responded quickly to any queries, was a great short break in the Peak District.
