Located in the heart of Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell pudding and a local weekly market, the town provides a great base to explore this fantastic area and its many attractions. Fabulous walks, trails, golfing, rock climbing and much, much more are all within easy reach. Explore the many historic houses such as Chatsworth, Haddon and Hardwick Hall to mention but a few. Impressive caverns in nearby Castleton and Little John’s Grave in Hathersage are also well worth a visit. There is plenty to do for walkers and cyclists, with the Monsal Trail on the doorstep. Golf and fishing available nearby. Netherwood really is a superb base to enjoy all this wonderful area has to offer at any time of the year. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Netherwood was a spotlessly clean apartment, with great facilities in a perfect location for Bakewell town. Catherine and Hugh were fantastic hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. I can't recommend this property highly enough.

Beautiful apartment in an ideal, quiet location but just a few minutes walk from Bakewell centre. Very well equipped, comfortable beds and lots of little extras like books, dvd’s, sweets and wine. Loved all the Christmas decorations! Will definitely return.

Netherwood is a fabulous apartment situated within a very short walking distance of all Bakewell has to offer. The owners have gone over and above the norm to provide an exceptionally clean well equipped apartment. Lots of little additional touches to make your stay more comfortable. Very dog friendly with outside hosing down area, towels and treats. Thank you. We hope to return.

We enjoyed a very lovely (& wet!) break at Netherwood. It catered for everything we needed even down to dog treats! Very clean and perfect location. Catherine & Hugh were the perfect hosts. Would definitely recommend.
