The accommodation was newly renovated with two toilets and two showers and two sinks, which was an advantage. The beds were comfortable, and there were TVs in both bedrooms and in the kitchen. The kitchen was compact but had all the basic appliances. AC worked well. It was located in a very quiet neighbourhood, with the grocery a short walk away.
The space was a bit cramped, but manageable. The stairs are very steep. The owner was responsive, but sometimes took a while to respond to messages (we did the pre-check in ahead of time, but didn’t receive the entry code until a hour before check in). Not enough hooks in the shower room for hanging towels. No toaster. Otherwise it was good for a very short stay.

Great location. Amazing to find a 2 bedroom place so close to Ueno. Super warm and clean. Two toilet AND two showers.

Perfect space for my friends and I for our two weeks in Tokyo! Had everything we needed, perfect location right next to train station and local konbini. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean and had perfect utilities (heating, two bathrooms, washing machine/dryer etc)
