Lovely well maintained property with lots of home touches. Views were amazing on both sides- sea one side and countryside the other. Hot tub was gorgeous. Staff were so so friendly. Beds very comfy. Highchair and one baby gate (but be mindful there are 3 flights of stairs in the property…) Pool was a great little addition. Very very basic shop in reception (more of a bookshelf) but some nice treats. The ice machine in the property was great and much needed in the heatwave!

As noted in description, there are many many steps to access the property from the car, which was a little difficult with luggage and kids. Just be mindful of this. No shop in walking distance but all supermarkets delivered. No sun loungers (as pictured) The roads to access really are single track and we had to reverse for a long time to let cars pass. We also smashed the wing mirror off our rental car. We met a HGV half way down the road and they kindly reversed for us, but many would not and we heard a few people got into little spats about who needed to reverse. The walk to the beach is very steep and the walk back was not pleasant but the views are stunning. The beach itself had a lot of seaweed and was great for exploring! Lots of washed up seaweed which stank and was like mud, so just be mindful of this as my kiddo was a little upset by the smell. The little beach cafe was beautiful but expensive. Great beach gear available there if you forget anything. Staff were so friendly at the cafe and let us use their landline to book a taxi (no signal!) You can get taxis into Looe and Polperro but as expected it’s a busy service so book ahead. There are no blinds or curtains so during the heatwave the property was unpleasantly warm as the beautiful windows turned the home into a greenhouse. The sofa was very warn down and not comfortable to sit for long.
