Nestled on the edge of Plaidy Beach, Beachside is a spectacular coastal retreat offering guests panoramic sea views, direct beach access, and all the amenities needed for a memorable seaside holiday. With spacious living areas, a stunning deck overlooking Looe Bay, and beautifully appointed bedrooms, Beachside promises an unforgettable escape for families and groups seeking a relaxing coastal getaway.
Beachside’s ground floor features a large open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. The lounge includes a 48” Smart TV and DVD system perfect for cosy evenings. A modern white kitchen with a breakfast bar and high stools for six complements the large dining table, which comfortably seats eight. Double doors open to a light-filled conservatory with comfortable seating, a radio, and an iPod/iPhone docking station, providing the perfect spot to take in the sweeping sea views.
The property’s multi-level deck is equipped with garden furniture and has expansive 180-degree views over the Looe Bay from Rame Head in the East toe Looe Island and beyond in the West. Steps down from the lower deck lead to a small grass area and further flight of steps lead down to the beach itself, providing an easy transition from relaxation to seaside fun. Outside storage is available for kayaks and beach gear, making Beachside ideal for water enthusiasts and beach lovers alike.
Beachside offers four bedrooms, providing restful accommodations for all. The ground floor includes a twin room with bunk beds as well as a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Upstairs, guests will find three tastefully furnished double bedrooms. The two front bedrooms have king-size beds and private patio doors leading to a shared balcony with captivating sea views, ideal for morning coffee or evening relaxation. A large family bathroom with a corner bath, basin, and WC completes the upper floor.
With full gas central heating and WiFi, Beachside is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Linen and towels are provided (excluding beach towels), mobile reception is limited, with the best coverage through O2, Vodafone, and 3. For larger gatherings, Beachside can be booked with the adjoining property, Shoreside. The two properties can connect seamlessly with an adjoining door internally and adjoining decks outside, providing accommodation for up to 14 guests, making it a perfect option for extended families or groups.

What an absolutely awesome property. Perfect location with a lovely walk into Looe on your doorstep.We couldn’t want anymore then what this property offered, everything you could think you would need it was there. The whole booking process and communication was 2nd to none. Obviously the glorious weather we had added to the whole experience! Will definitely be returning

Beautiful property with direct access to the beach and Fantastic views. Need a car to get around. Space for parking 2 small cars, but quite tight.Some people with mobility issues may find it challenging. We had the best time and would love to return time hereatime he

We had a mixed experience at the property. The location and view were stunning, with the beach literally on our doorstep, which was fantastic when the weather cooperated. The property itself was spacious and the cleaner did a great job, particularly in the kitchen and with the bedding. However, the property's condition seemed to be in need of some TLC - a fresh coat of paint and some modernisation would make a big difference. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a few issues. The dishwasher broke mid-week and wasn't repaired during our stay. More significantly, we encountered a flea infestation, which started with bites when sitting on the sofa and escalated to a flea landing on my husband's leg. Despite purchasing flea treatment, the issue persisted, and we ultimately decided to cut our stay short by a day. Given the 1500 price tag, we expected a higher standard. Upon reflection, it might be worth considering treating the property for insects if pets are allowed. Unfortunately, this experience soured what could have been a wonderful holiday, and we won't be returning.
