Lock-house, Blackwatertown, UK

The little cottage is a simple, nice old place in a lovely location. Very charming. The owners are lovely and very responsive. Couldn't ask for better hosts. We booked it because it was advertised as three bedrooms. From the photos, I knew the room I would be staying in was small, and the price fairly reflected that, yet it was a thoroughfare to another bedroom. There was no room in it to store clothes. It might be perfect for a child, but it was a struggle for a grown-up. If you don't need that room otherwise, it is a great place to stay. If I return to the area and only need two bedrooms, I would book it again!

Loved the house and the little old school cottage decor. All the little bits left like shampoo l, toothbrushes etc and milk tea coffee etc was a lovely surprise. Place was spotless and towels bedlinen etc smelled so fresh and clean. There is also freezer and washing machine/dryer in the out house in the garden which is great to have. The view is so beautiful and the place is so tranquil i loved it.

The only thing i had an issue with is the mattresses I have issues with my back and found them very hard and uncomfortable even if a mattresses topper was to be put on would make all the difference.
