This was exactly what I was after. Cheaper than a hotel with facilities that allowed me to relax, watch a bit of TV and there was a fridge on hand to chill some drinks and keep milk fresh. There was a kitchenette, if needed with Tea and Coffee, but I went out to eat.
There was nothing, I didn't really like about the place. The accommodation is attached to the owners main house and there is a door that I assume links the two. I can see how this might be a little unnerving for some, but it can be locked from the accommodation side.

The rate is comparatively lower than other hotels in the neighborhood. Utensils in the kitchen are sufficient.
We bought ourselves the shampoo, conditioner and body wash at the nearby Tesco Express. It would be helpful to specify that no toiletries are provided Bath towels are old and beat up. The lock box didn’t really work. We kept the key in our handbags when we went out.
