The Mango Garden

Casetta incantevole all'interno di un giardino curatissimo e silenzioso. La stanza è dotata di 2 grandi letti matrimoniali e di un bagno spazioso e ha alcuni comodi tavolini di appoggio. Ambiente molto pulito e curato. La colazione abbondante e gustosa, con diversi piatti locali fatti al momento. I proprietari gentilissimi e premurosi, attenti a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Molto bello e rilassante il patio, dove ci si può sedere a riposare e leggere in totale tranquillità. Prezzo davvero molto onesto rispetto al comfort e alla bellezza della struttura

Este fue nuestro primer alojamiento en Sri Lanka. Estuvimos con una familia que tenía allí su casa. Se preocuparon por nosotros en todo momento y nos trataron como familia. Nos hacian el desayuno, muy delicioso y tradicional, nos ayudaron con todo sin pedir nada a cambio. Son unas personas/familia maravillosas, os recomiendo mucho ir a esta casita para vuestro viaje. We've just spent incredibly exciting and relaxing six days at the Mango Garden. The host family is warm-hearted and always smiling! The day starts with breakfast (big variety vegetarian/vegan if you wish) at your preferred time. You can also choose breakfast-to-go instead if you want. During the day they serve you tea if you wish. The room (a spacious house in their garden) is very comfortable with a charming balcony. The family is very helpful when it comes to discovering the area (for example telling you which bus to take for Polonnaruwa). They also generously offer tuktuk-rides (for example to Pidurangala/Sigiriya early morning for the sunrise) They let you know the price in advance (fair price!). De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en willen je werkelijk met alles helpen! Niets is teveel. Ze hebben 1 huisje en zijn een tweede aan het bouwen( daar heb je geen last van). Er zijn genoeg restaurantjes op loopafstand, maar de eigenaar brengt je ook met alle liefde met zijn tuktuk naar een restaurant. Wij raden spicy garden aan! Ook heeft de eigenaar ons ‘‘s ochtends vroeg naar de Pidurangala rots gereden en is zelfs om gereden om ons nog wat andere plekjes te laten zien. Ze hebben ook een jeepsafari geregeld. Houd hier wel rekening mee dat er veel jeeps achter elkaar rijden. Wel heel veel olifanten gezien!

Er zitten weleens eekhoorntjes op het dak en dat hoor je dan, maar dat doet niks af aan de accommodatie en de vriendelijkheid van de eigenaren.
