This place, although simple, It was incredibly nice and cozy. The owner and his staff were absolutely fabulous, always welcoming and ready to help. The food was one of the bests we have had already in 12 days in Sri Lanka! There is a peaceful garden surrounding the property and even an eagle came to greet every morning!

They have very nice double cottages. We are traveling 3. Our triple room could have been a little more spacious. But really, for the price, this place has a 10 plus! My friend had to work late and they were attentive to all her needs since she finished! What a great team of nice people! Congratulations 🎈

We had a fantastic stay at Rimaka Village and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Habarana area. The spacious chalets are comfortable, spotlessly clean, air-conditioned, and have very comfortable beds, making them a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. One of the highlights was the delicious homemade food. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were freshly prepared every day, and the meal times were very flexible, which made planning our excursions easy. Our teenagers had a few special requests, and everything was accommodated with great care—including delicious packed lunches for our day trips. We also enjoyed the fresh tropical fruits every day. The peaceful garden, the surrounding nature, and the many birds and animals created a very relaxing atmosphere. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming and genuinely care about making their guests feel comfortable. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home from the very first moment. If we return to Sri Lanka, we will definitely stay at Rimaka Village again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic hospitality, excellent homemade food, and a peaceful place to stay near Habarana.

De eigenaar, architect uit Colombo, heeft hier op deze plek zijn eigen paradijs gecreëerd. Een gigantische en prachtige tuin met veel planten en dieren maar ook eigen fruitbomen. Mooie grote en rustige kamers midden in de natuur met een goed bed en Egyptisch linnen. Een fijne stortdouche met toiletartikelen. En niet onbelangrijk: de eerste lokatie in Sri Lanka waar geen stroomproblemen waren. Het team legt je continue in de watten met Ceylon thee of een fruitsap uit eigen tuin. Ze helpen met excursies en hebben goede contacten met drivers en boekingskantoren. En dan het eten hier… Sri Lanka heeft al één van de beste keukens wereldwijd, maar het ontbijt, lunch en diner op deze lokatie is echt van een hoog niveau. Elke dag wordt er overlegd waar je zin in hebt en dat gaan ze dan maken. Kortom, ben je in de regio, dan is dit echt the place to be.
