We absolutely loved our four-night stay at Gabaa Resort. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after us with such warmth and attention that we could simply relax and enjoy our time.
The beautiful cottages are little tropical oases—stylish, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The spacious bathrooms, especially the huge showers, were a real highlight.
Between all the incredible experiences in the area, Gabaa became our peaceful sanctuary to come home to each day. If we’re ever lucky enough to return to Sri Lanka, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

We stayed as a family of 5 and had 3 lodges, loads of space and very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were fabulous and so accommodating. Spotless property and grounds. The pool was great to relax by after busy sightseeing. Breakfast was a banquet with so many freshly cooked delicious choices.

The design of the rooms and huts were very beautiful to look at, along with the staff who were very enjoyable to be around
I wouldn’t recommend staying here during the rainy season due to the noise from the roof of the building. The food was average at best.
