Gabaa Resort & Spa - Habarana

We really enjoyed our stay at Gabaa Resort. The place is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by nature, which gives it a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was comfortable and clean, and we really enjoyed the pool as well. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful throughout our stay. They always made us feel welcome and were ready to help whenever we needed anything. Overall, we had a really good experience here and enjoyed our time a lot.

In a nice calm and peaceful location where you can relax and swim in the pool. Surrounded by lots of greenery and plants. Amazing big breakfast and staff were very friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved our four-night stay at Gabaa Resort. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after us with such warmth and attention that we could simply relax and enjoy our time. The beautiful cottages are little tropical oases—stylish, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The spacious bathrooms, especially the huge showers, were a real highlight. Between all the incredible experiences in the area, Gabaa became our peaceful sanctuary to come home to each day. If we’re ever lucky enough to return to Sri Lanka, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

GABAA clearly works hard to have a lovely place. But for us it gave us glamping vibes for a high price. The room is lovely and the shower area does give that beautiful shower with nature vibes. On another note - lovely expectional breakfast. Unfortunately, this hotel was not for us though.

- Swimming pool had insects in it and loads of ants on the outside. I was bitten by something whilst at the pool. It is also very small. - Like all places in sri lanka expect insects lizards in your room/shower and in the surrounding area. - hard to communicate due to language even if I did use google translate. - birds/squirrel nest in the roof kept us up with noise. - unless you have a eye mask the room we had was lite up due to lack of blinds/curtains for all windows.
