The owners should decide whether the hotel is either The Courtyard Hotel........or Tong Park Hotel.

A very basic continental breakfast was provided free of charge as a gesture for the keycard incident, and the bed was comfortable.

I booked a one night stay on Booking.com at "The Courtyard Hotel". However, on arrival in Tong and driving around for approx 20 mins to locate The Courtyard Hotel, I finally discovered that the hotel was actually called Tong Park Hotel, and not The Courtyard Hotel. On checking in, I was provided with a keycard which didn't work. On returning to reception, I was provided with a second keycard, which again didn't work. As a result, I was "upgraded" to another room in which the interior woodwork looked tired and in need of a re-paint. Furthermore, the "Tong Park Hotel" magazine in the room clearly states free parking; however, on checking in I was advised there was a charge of £4 to park during my stay.

Room clean and tidy but tired. Night manager very helpful.Great location. Good sleep

Facilities needed TLC. Floors in bar and resturant area had visible cracks and was taped over. Not good impression. Breakfast was a fiasco. No chef on duty. Eggs, were cold and scrambled eggs cold and rubbery. No staff on duty, wandered aimslessly around the resturant to check offerings. What food was out on the counter was of poor quality . The Coffee was instant and water was only lukewarm to make coffee. Continental selection was dry ? Had been left out all night. Bread was stale, hard , next to the toaster. Manager was absent , on his phone struggled to get his attention. When we did get attention he said they didn't have a chef on duty. Other patrons were sat in shorty pjamas eating breakfast . Gave a bad impression. After a good sleep, breakfast was a major disappointment

Bad Hotel, wouldn't use again

The bed was comfortable and the shower was okay

It took me ages to find the hotel, tried ringing the hotel for directions just to have the phone out down on twice, turns out the hotel has now changed its name, the restaurant was closed as someone booked thr kitchen for a private function to which I didn't want to hear after spending 14 hours at work, the hotel says it accoodates pets however on checking at first I was refused but then they just wanted me to pay more which it doesn't state in the description, then the hotel also wanted to hold an extra £50 deposit which is new to me and I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, still waiting for my deposit to return into my bank account, in the morning the down stairs toilets was a absolute disgrace, after speaking with the man on reception he just replied "yes I know" and to top it off the list was out of service and could only use the stairs

Noise Noise Noise from a private function until 2.00am - staff uninterested

The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean

NOISE - Until 2.00am the next morning, booming and vibrating through the entire hotel - Very Loud Music from a Wedding Function felt and heard throughout the entire hotel from around 20:30 until 2:00am the next morning. Within 5 minutes, probably less, we had music thumping through our room - we phoned reception to complain and asked to be moved to a quieter room - non available apparently. We were assured the Wedding Function and music would be finished by 11pm. Ok that was just about tolerable. Just about. They lied to us. 11:30pm music still pumping out - 2:00am still as loud as ever but stopped very shortly afterwards, we went to the desk again to complain and he basically shrugged his shoulders and advised us to send an email the next day complaining to "the management". What the hell do these people think they're playing at? We spent well over £100 (a huge amount of money to us) on a room as a treat to get away from it all for a night and have a lovely time away. Not a chance it was stressful and the next day was virtually a write off - and we'd booked tickets to a day event in Leeds which we couldn't then enjoy due to lack of sleep. This hotel could not care less about it's clients. Avoid at all costs. There are so many other nicer places to stay in this area - which we would have booked had we known in advance the hotel was hosting a private event. Which is exactly how it should have stayed - a private event. NOISE - NOISE - NOISE - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE - AVOID

The hotel is not called the court yard hotel, I spent over 30 minutes in the area trying to find this hotel who have changed its name to the tong park hotel, not good for business.

Well located hotel and good value for money

It was a lovely location, nice and clean and good value for money - we needed a dog friendly hotel and they were happy to accommodate

The toilet didn’t flush every time and when it did it was very noisy - I did tell the staff but it didn’t get fixed

Seems to operate under multiple names; difficult to confirm if I’m in the right place (even Reception wasn’t sure). Village Hotel, Tong Park Hotel, even Holiday Inn??? Although bathroom seemed newly renovated, drains were very slow and smelly. Windows old and barely opened, curtains falling apart and didn’t move. No ventilation at all. Restaurant service was very slow; food was mediocre. Lift was out of service, no help bringing up suitcase. Halls carpets were old and coming up in places. Parking was militant- it’s in the middle of nowhere, why the vigilance?

Nice stay

I booked this hotel so that I could attend my grandma's wake nearby. The hotel is nice and clean. Very peaceful in a village. The evening food was nice ..especially the chicken malai . Definitely will be back.
