Great space for a family, clean and comfy, the neighbourhood is very quiet, enough space for 4 people, maybe 5, everything was in mint condition, looks like recently renovated. Owner is also very nice, responsive and friendly
It is 15mn away from the train station, it was not a big deal for us, but you may consider that, if you are looking for convenience.

The room was cleaned as we expected. Overall, almost all good. However, we suggest to add a curtain on window, so it creates darker room for easy sleeping. Moreover, it should not be too hassle to provide a key to access into the apartment, if the client comes within hour or less before the check in time, so the clients will have a peaceful mind.

The interior was very esthetically pleasing with comfortable futon beds and traditional tatami mats. It's relatively close to Kyoto Station and other attractions as well. On the first floor is a lovely tea shop, we ordered three different teas and each were artistically set.
The only cooking equipment was the electric kettle and a few tea cups.
