Nothing at all. We left within 2 minutes of our arrival. It was a disgusting, filthy and shocking accommodation. It was like a building site. The supposed building work going on was just a cover for a very derelict building inside and out. The Bar, the Lounge and the corridors along with the room, were to say the least, dilapidated. How Booking.com can have this on their Web site is a total disgrace. Go and look at it and you will see that all of the above is correct. I have asked on your complaint register for a full repayment or I will take this further along with social media. I can appreciate that Booking.com may not fully know the condition of every establishment but that doesn’t negate their responsibility for the reservation. This is a client who uses Booking.com and it’s the first time I have ever complained, so you will understand how bad this accommodation was.

As I said above, every single aspect of this Property.

The owner had called me when I booked to explain that rooms were being renovated and what I had booked wasn't available, but he was able to offer an alternative. He was helpful on the phone and I appreciate the call.

When we arrived it was clear we had been catfished. The places website was beautiful but it did not reflect the pub accurately. The owner took us to our room which was small and had one small window very high up, like a prison cell. There was no tea of coffee in the room as the owner told us what had been there was out of date and they hadn't replaced it. The TV didn't work properly. The beds (which were 2 singles) creaked. But the major issue was the noisy music that could be heard from downstairs until very late at night. After a long drive there, having to contend with that was not pleasant. We also found that we couldn't lock our door from the inside and were concerned for the security of our car on the carpark. We could access outside through a fire exit but with it being a fire exit, when the door closed you couldn't get back in. I could see what they are trying to achieve with the place as the decorating in progress looked nice. But I don't think they should be open for residents yet. Also, considering the location and facilities, or lack there of they shouldn't be charging as much as they are. I would not stay there again.
