River Loom

The riverside stay was one of the best parts. Lots of greenery and a nice garden. They also had a BBQ, and the breakfast was really good and freshly cooked. The best thing I liked was that we could go kayaking and boating right from the property. The location is great too, with Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, and Samudra Beach, all nearby. One of the best backwater stays in Kerala. The host was friendly and accommodating, which made the whole stay smooth and relaxing.

Nothing much to dislike, honestly. I had a really good experience overall.

The stay was as beautiful as expected, the front lawn and riverfront views were unreal, especially during golden hour time. All tourist destinations were easily accessible from the property. Food was really good and they even provided a candlelight dinner and bbq by the riverside. They had this very tasty Kerala style breakfast with bread toasts, egg etc. overall very delicious meal. we were even given multiple choices of what to have, which was really great. They had also placed multiple games so incase you are coming with your kids, they have stuff sorted to keep your kids busy and you can enjoy your peaceful getaway. We went to kayaking and country boat ride which comes to the property and i would recommend everyone to try it, it was just so peaceful and beautiful. Also Amal, the caretaker was super helpful and attentive and made sure we had a stress free stay. Would visit again as this place really met the expectations.

google map kinda shows the bad road when we had a better road to reach the property, that was the only issue but the caretaker, Amal, properly guided us towards our location without any hassle.

The location was beautiful. The lawn and hammock space is well laid out. Sambath, the caretaker, is a friendly host and took care of our needs. It’s more beautiful than the pics on line.

The property requires some capital investment to upgrade its furniture and fittings within the building. Just be aware that there is a strip of land in front of the property across the waters that’s operated by the Taj and they do not respect the local community or spacing. They had hosted an event that was very loud and disturbed the entire ecosystem around. P.S. River Loom is a serene space.
