Mary Land Homestay

We had a wonderful stay at Mary Land Homestay in Thiruvananthapuram. Edwin and Ashlin are exceptional hosts who welcomed us warmly into their property. The highlight was definitely the homemade breakfast—it was absolutely heavenly! The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the beach is just a convenient 5 to 10-minute walk away.

The property is right next to a church that plays music over loudspeakers starting at 5 AM, so adding soundproofing would be a huge help for light sleepers. Additionally, guest safety could be improved on the second floor: there is a small step near the kitchen/bathroom area that isn't easily visible—everyone in our family tripped over it. Marking this threshold with contrasting color tape or a indicator light would prevent future trips.

Very neatly maintained. The washrooms were neat and it just felt like home, warm and comfortable to stay during our visit. Worth the price and the owners of the property were very kind people. It's a home away from home.

The homemade breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. Every meal felt like authentic home-cooked Kerala food.
