Clean property, yes ofcourse but what makes this really special is Bijoy, his charming family and the warmth of their reception and caring for you as their guests. Wonderful hospitality and a kind generous Kerala style welcome!

Bijoy and Aleena have worked very hard to bring together a precious gem; a home away from home. Together with their staff they work like a family to cater to a diverse range of clients from solo travellers to families. Their garden by the sea is tended to daily and creates a tropical haven away from the rush and bustle. 'The most excellent Marigold Hotel' of Trivandrum and Kerala. A must stay place on everyone's bucket list.

I liked the little enclave in the midst of ruined and dilapidated houses by the beach damaged by a cyclone. The kitchen and cleaning staff were very helpful, and our rooms were comfortable. The AC and fans worked well, and the beds were ok.
The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of veg options, and the chef was in hand to prepare dosas and other goodies.
The garden is small but clean and inviting, and the dinners were wonderful too.
Having a room with a terrace was nice although no lights in the terrace.
- They need a meal menu with prices displayed openly. They provided buffet dinners while charging a la carte. Have customer sign dinner bill every night to avoid any misunderstandings.
- Dinners ready an hour after agreed upon time.
- Alcoholic drinks should come with a receipt--none given after requesting it.
- Adjacent beach really dirty but wonderful locals.
- No other restaurants near the property.
