Verdant Escape Corfu

Great location just 5 mins from the main shops that lead to the Old Town. 2 min walk to a coffee shop with it's own bakery and 5 mins walk to the sea. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated (understated) and has some nice pieces of furniture. The outdoor area is huge and although we didn't use it much it's good to know it's there and is nice to look at from the living room. The garden was the reason I initially booked the property. We didn't utilise the kitchen but it looked well stocked with cooking equipment. The air con worked perfectly, as did the hot water, which needs to be switched on 20 mins before using. We only used it once as cold showers were preferable as the outside temperature was in the mid 30s. Parking was easy enough to find nearby. I cannot understand the previous low rated reviews as this property was good value, very comfortable and in an excellent location.

Only a small grumble that the shower cubicle is very small but this didn't affect my holiday. There was also a bath with a shower attachment so this could be used if anyone found the shower cubicle too claustrophobic.

Le logement est très bien situé si on veut visiter Corfu et profiter des sorties le soir. ( bars, restaux, boutiques, tout est à quelques minutes à pied) C'est parfait pour 4 personnes , très spacieux avec une terrasse/ jardin très agréable ( deux couples ou famille de 4). L'hôte est très disponible, et très réactive. Il y a tout le nécessaire.

la seule plage accessible à pied ( 20minutes) est la plage "Mon repo". Elle n'est pas super grande et plein de galets/ pierres. Pour deux transats le prix est de 28 euro la journée pour la journée complète ou même si vous décidez d'y rester que 2h. Nous avons trouvé que l'environnement n'était pas très propre ni bien entretenu.
