Corfu Retreat

Great location in the old town. Minutes away from loads of restaurants and two of the towns tiny beaches. Very comfortable beds, and a well supplied little kitchen. Nice welcome foodstuffs too. Bedt wax sitting on our balcony in the evening watching the swifts doing their aerial acrobatics.

Always remember to take the toilet paper out of the bathroom before you shower! Wifi was temperamental.

The apartment is very cosy, feels much loved home, so it felt very comfortable going back after the day exploring the town and the island. The location is very central, kind of special, on one of the old centre narrow streets. Away from much noise at the same time. The kitchen has everything required for self-catering, if needed. Great communication with the owner, Vassili. Prompt response and helpful advice. Lovely well planned breakfast at our door at the time of our choice. Thank you for the hospitality! As it was mentioned in previous reviews, the toilet and the shower share the same cubicle, which is a bit odd at first. However, it's very clean and there is plenty of hot water. So it didn't bother us.

Unlike what is advertise, Host did not provide breakfast

Host should communicate that taxi does not alight at the door. Host should meet guests at nearest taxi stop. Host should communicate that there are many staircases to reach the apartment. The place is not good for old aged guests carrying heavy luggage.
