Executive Living Östermalm Apartment

The apartment is located in the prestigious 19th-century Ostermalm district, right next to Karlaplan, on a quiet, leafy street. It's right next to the Karlaplan metro station and the Fältöversten shopping center (which houses, among others, an ICA and Hemkop; the other ICA is on the other side of Karlaplan). Buses from Karlaplan are also available, providing easy access to Waldemarsudde and Thielska Galeriet, among other places. The apartment is ideally equipped for even a very long stay (dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, electric heater, etc.). However, please note that the apartment is located in the basement, requiring access via steep, winding stairs (19), and there are also stairs from the ground floor entrance. This characteristic should be clearly noted in the description, as such stairs can be a significant obstacle for older people with mobility issues. In addition, very good contact with the manager.

The main drawback was a damaged shower seal. It was impossible to shower without splashing water on the bathroom floor. We had to wipe the floor with paper towels after showering. The owner absolutely MUST replace the shower seal! It's hard to understand why this wasn't addressed. We also believe that the window curtains should be opaque (they are only opaque in the bedrooms, not in the living room).

The location was excellent. Situated in a lovely street close to the park, restaurants,supermarket. We walked everywhere, The host William was very responsive and lovely.

We loved our stay there but just to let people know there are about 10 steps up to the landing and then a spiral type staircase down to the apartment.

Le manque d’intimité entre la chambre et le reste de l’appartement. Nous étions deux couples. L’appartement était surchauffé sans possibilité de régler.

The apartment was very spacious and perfectly organized.. Spotlessly clean and in an amazing location. Most attractions are within walking distance, and for the way back lots of choices of public transportation. Very central and at the same time incredibly quiet and beautiful neighborhood.

The glass separator between the bedroom and the living room is very nice aesthetically but does not provide any privacy. If one person wants to sleep and the other wants to watch TV or read a book, it is not possible.
