Mälardrottningen Yacht Hotel

Brilliant location in the heart of Stockholm. The yacht was a unique place to stay with great outlook from the restaurant and bar on the main deck although we felt better use could be made of the outdoor areas which are limited and not particularly inviting. However the location is more than adequate compensation as it's an easy walk to the main attractions and to public transport.

Room was very small with tiny bathroom and as it was on the lowest deck towards the stern it had sloping walls and high porthole window with no outlook. Carparking nearby is very expensive although free weekend street parking is available a 10-15 minute walk away. Breakfast is adequate but of average standard for Sweden. Overall the yacht is more of a hostel standard than a luxury hotel.

Great location, breakfast was very good, comfy beds, nice staff.

Great position , quiet, good breakfast, restaurant on boat was good,. Sparkling water on tap for free. Views over sea.

Smallest room & bathroom sink tricky to shave in

Good location and in close proximity to what we planned to visit.

Due to a clash of dates we had to make two separate bookings. The room we were allocated was a suite with sea view. It lacked a decent bathroom with shower space (shower over toilet). The room was not easily accessible with narrow steep stairs and very hard to climb with luggage. Also the room lacked functionality. After feeling that the room was inadequate we asked for another room. The room we were given was marginally better except for accessibility and some facilities (no bedside table, no tea and coffee available in the room and tv remote didn’t work). We paid extra for the suite.
