Sheraton Stockholm Hotel

I enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the back street was noisy at night, specifically motorcycles.

Good location in that the hotel is close to central station (where the Arlanda express goes to direct from the airport) and close to shops/bars/restaurants and attractions. Booked a junior suite, the photos are misleading (same photos on agoda as the hotels own website). To me it looked like the room had a balcony, it does not and nor do any other rooms as I walked around the parameter of the hotel and none had balconies. Also it says lake view, but there’s a main road between the hotel and lake and they give you binoculars in the room, which really sums up that to say it has a lake view is rather exaggerated! Stayed for 2 nights, so not overly bothered but room service couldn’t even be bothered to make the bed, didn’t take the rubbish, but left some bath salts! The mini fridge is massively overpriced, wasn’t even tempted because the contents of the fridge weren’t even cold! Breakfast was okay, but a lot of items run out and staff don’t notice so even if you wait it’s unlikely to get refilled. All the eggs had gone, which is the main component of breakfast in my view at a continental buffet, and no-one noticed, I had to point it out when a member of staff eventually appeared. For the price and considering this hotel is 5 stars I expected better.

The room was very well decorated and comfortable. The location is amazing and is situated just 5 mins from the metro with many food options available and a 15min walk to gamla stan. The staff is very friendly. 10/10 would recommend

We booked a family room for 2 nights and it was terrible experience especially a big brand Sheraton and Marriott Bonvoy . Location is close to central railway station and easy to find. Hotel was under renovation and entry is very cramped and narrow and feels unsafe. Front desk is on makeshift narrow space and hardly there is space for standing and long queue of customers to check in. I don’t understand why should they start receiving bookings and guests and when front office is even not ready. Rooms are very small and around bed not much space to put your luggage and move around. Bathrooms are also very small with little space do standing and it’s like open area in the room as water and other sounds from bathroom are directly heard in the room, so not much privacy. I don’t recommend it as value for money is compromised.
