Turtle Pond Wilpattu

Oké dit is dus het plekje dat je eigenlijk alleen met je beste vrienden wilt delen. Wow! Het huis, niet normaal groot. Woonkamer met keuken en bar waar zes krukken aan staan. Hier hebben we de eerste avond heerlijk gegeten. Twee tweepersoonskamers met ieder een eigen badkamer. Het personeel topte alles tot nu toe. Zo aardig. En ze werken gewoon 1-op-1. Dankjewel voor deze heerlijke nachten. Ps: er is echt niets dus weinig wifi en dus maximaal ontspannen.

We had a delightful stay at Turtle Pond Wilpattu. We slept peacefully in a tastefully decorated country home facing a charming pond that welcomes various birds (including owls), fish, turtles and more. We felt like we were in a dream home away from home. We enjoyed the Sri Lankan dinners that Thanura and the team prepared for us - as this was the beginning of our Sri Lankan tour the food added an additional element of surprise to all the nature surrounding us. We would definitely recommend staying here. The facilities include a pool, which we took a dip in while enjoying some cold drinks. We would also recommend organizing a safari through the resort as they found us a highly experienced spotter (and good storyteller) who navigated the park for us. Thanks again to the team for a truly memorable stay.

Turtle Pond is a delightful private boutique hotel. They only have two rooms so we were well cared for! Malinda was very kind and attentive. There is a gorgeous pool amongst the jungle and garden, perfect after a day safari, Wilpattu park is only a short drive away. I recommend highly.
