Elegant Flat - 6 Guests - Saint Germain des Prés

Very updated modern feel. Bright and calm colors. Good kitchen amenities. Good bathroom. The apartment is on the ground floor so kinda cave-like atmosphere feel but despite that a very nice semi private front porch with large windows welcoming in light and allowing air circulation. Great size for a family traveling with a couple or grandparents. And especially if the kids are still younger. We have 2 toddlers so the fact that 2 bedrooms are actually interconnected with one having bunk beds was very convenient for us. But I'd watch out if you were 3 couples traveling together. This might be a 3 bedroom apartment however, the bedroom with bunkbeds can only be accessed via another bedroom.

The apartment was pretty humid more than normal for Paris. Now I dont know if its because the apartment is cave-like meaning naturally more humid than an above ground apartment. Maybe that was equally amplified by the heat wave as well as moisture left behind from the cleaning crew that scrubbed down the apartment before we arriged. But humidity could be felt strongly on the couch, the bedsheets, pillows (more so in the interconnected bedrooms). It leaves a slight odor that i personally can't stand. My wife felt less bothered, but more likely due to exhaustion (2 toddlers). Humidity wise, the rest of the apartment was okay. To be fair humidity was least felt in the larger bedroom (which fyi has a ceiling window that opens via tablet, very useful for air circulation during summer!). Nevertheless a dehumidifier might be a good investment for the owner to add as an apartment appliance. To be fair the host welomed my feedback and said he/she would take it under advisement.
