Haussmannien Saint-Germain Odéon Paris 6e

We booked this at short notice as our original accommodation had building works and the apartment smelt like concrete. I was sceptical at first as it only had a few reviews, but I needed to move so picked this place. We contact the owner and with 2 hours were met by Patrick who gave us the keys stored our luggage and we had dinner while he made beds etc. Wow... was my first response. It is huge and actually someone's apartment who lives there. Full drawers of everything thing you would expect in a normal house (spices, kitchen aid mixer etc etc). Perfectly located near Duaphne st, or what ever its called full of reastraunts, cafes, pharmacy etc. Short walk to St Michales train station and Notre Dame. Unfortunately the Pope was here when we were so didn't get to see it. Short walk to Lourve. We only had a few days in Paris as a part of a bigger European trip, but will definitely stay here when we return.

Not that it is a major problem, but the lift is tiny , but more than suitable to send luggage up to the third floor. Just sent my son up to the third floor and sent the luggage up in the lift and he unloaded it.

Full of character, typical traditional Parisian apartment. Fantastic location, walking distance to shops, cafes and the Louvre. Buzzy but also felt very safe. There was even a piano!

Steep stairs didn’t bother us but may bother some people.

Su ubicación, la decoración y la cocina. Muy agradable desayunar y cenar en casa.

No es un apartamento para 6. Ideal para 4.
