Mandala Home Villa

We're a family of four with kids aged 5 and 7, and we stayed here for 2 nights. We chose this villa on purpose, so our kids could see another side of Bali and how the locals actually live — and it delivered exactly that, and more. The location is wonderfully secluded, tucked away from the touristic parts of the island. It's also one of the closest places to Bali’s Gate of Heaven, which was another big reason we booked it. One morning we left the property at 5:30 and were at the temple within 20 minutes, and we only had to wait about 15 minutes in line for that iconic Gate of Heaven photo at the Lempuyang Temple framing the split gate with the holy Mount Agung in the background. Worth every early alarm. The property itself was lovely, and the two little cute black rabbits were a huge hit — the kids loved playing with them. For dinner we took a taxi to Amed, only 15 minutes away, with plenty of options and good restaurants. And breakfast? The best pancakes in Bali!! What a great scenic spot. The owner, Dita, who took us for a walk showed us some local Balinese life. The neighbours keep chickens and cows, and there are heaps of fruit trees everywhere. If you want a peaceful, authentic stay with warm hospitality, this is it. We'd happily come back.

Don’t stay here if you don’t have a motorbike or does not want to take a taxi.

We had a wonderful stay! What we loved most about this place was how beautiful and peaceful it was. The pool is absolutely amazing and perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always making us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, with great quality and plenty of options. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The only small downside was that the access road is a bit remote and quite bumpy, especially if you’re arriving by scooter. It was also a little difficult to find the property the first time. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Le lit confortable, le jardin, la piscine, la douche avec de la végétation, savon et shampooing et la cuisine bien équipée. Et s'il manque quelque chose le boss vous l'apporte. Le personnel très gentil et accueillant. Scooter obligatoire car à 10 minutes de Amed mais du coup c'est super calme

Pas de ménage ni de serviettes changé pendant les 5 jours. Et un geko qui faisait ses besoins depuis le plafond et qui tombait sûr le sol dans la chambre.

Beautiful room and grounds Bed was super comfortable! Amazing shower Loved the size and vibe of the room Great pool too! Amazing value for money! The view is just gorgeous and you are in quiet countryside, a 12min scooter ride to Amed. Wouldn’t recommend if you do not have a scooter… although they do offer a driver service in & out of town for 100k
