Great beach stay

Location - right on a very good snorkeling beach! Wonderful view from rooftop of Mt. Agung and the sea made it a lovely spot to drink my morning coffee. Staff were great, super nice and helpful. Room was comfortable. A/C worked well.

Low water pressure in the shower (one floor up from ground level). Also just FYI "corner room" was a different type of corner than I usually think of - here it is an interior room without much view of the sea.

Very enjoyable, chilled and laid back!

Ideally placed. Directly on the beach. Large terrace. Panoramic view from 1st floor apartments. Breakfast served outside your room. Communal rooftop terrace. Great views of volcano. Snorkelling amazing! Incredibly friendly staff. Arranged airport transfer at a great price.

This is not a dislike but more of a suggestion: if you stay there (or anywhere in Amed Beach) take water/diving/aqua shoes as beach is pebble and black shingle.

Paradise in Amed

You walk through the doors and are greeted with paradise. The pool, the beach. The view from your room. Instantly feeling relaxed, taking a deep breath and soaking it in. The staff were amazing, and cooked breakfast everyday, sitting on the deck felt luxurious. Definitely a highlight.

Great location, great staff and a really interesting stay.

Location was fabulous. It was right on the beach and great views of Mt Agung. There were also many places to eat, with Warung Bobo next door that had a great menu an terrific service. Also we went snorkelling on the reef right in front of our room. Also we watched scuba divers from our veranda diving at day time and also groups doing night dives. The plunge pool was also a great addition to the property.

Great hotel

This is a cute hotel with nice clean rooms. We had a corner room with two twin beds that the staff converted to a king size bed for us. Small table and chairs right outside our door and when you walked over to the railing you looked down on the pool that was very nice. When you looked up you have an amazing view of Mt. Agung and the ocean. It was really nice. We were told that the snorkeling in front of hotel was really nice too! The staff were all super helpful. They even decorated our room for my 60th Birthday!! They arranged a driver for us. They have scooters available for rent. And you can walk to town easily. You really don't have to plan a thing. They can make arrangements for you. The price was extremely good as well. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Stunning views.

We like everything about this property but particularly the amazing views from our room. Panorama 1. This is our third visit to Amed and this accommodation. We keep coming back because it’s so lovely and relaxing. My husband loves the easy of snorkeling out the front. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The location is an easy walk to town. We intend to return to Amed Beach Villas for a 4th visit.

Very enjoyable.

The location is excellent. Beachfront with great snorkelling. Lots of restaurants and little shops within walking distance. The view of Mt Agung was stunning from the top balcony and from the beach. Small property only 5 rooms. Good small swimming pool with lounges. Shower to wash off after beach swim. Room well appointed. Tea and coffee making facilities. Smart TV. Air con and a ceiling fan. We only needed the fan. Beer and extra water can be purchased from reception. Ample simple breakfast served to the table and chair outside your room. Lovely to sit outside , eating breakfast with a beautiful view.

We had the corner twin room. It was comfortable although did have a damp smell. We found the mattresses not very comfortable. The 4 double rooms looked lovely although nearly twice the price.

Outstanding, will stay there every time I’m in Amed!

Everything! It’s small so homely feeling, always a space at the pool. Snorkelling right out the front of the hotel with complimentary snorkel gear. Lovely staff. And the upstairs villas have such amazing views of the volcano! Plus Warung Bobo next door has a great atmosphere & a great band on the beachfront on Thursday nights!

Can't really beat this place for value for money and wow factor view

A lot of 1%ers that add up to a wonderful stay. Over and above being clean and well maintained,, things like a big jar of Bali coffee to use at will, small almost "boutique" feel to the 5 room hotel, cozy pool with beach views, satisfactory breakfast, ceiling fans inside and out, close to all the "action" in town, and not to mention the most amazing view of both the ocean and Mt Agun, right in front of you!

No fault of the hotel but wi-fi was down for a good day and a half in Amed.

A quiet, relaxing beach getaway from the hustle and bustle of the bigger tourist towns.

Great location close to local restaurants and cafes. Right on the beach with fantastic views of Mt Agung, boat rental right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was simple but nice.

Beautiful pool and outlook. Close to amenities in town. Free use of snorkel gear. Great snorkelling right off the beach out front. Beautiful sunset from bean bags at the warung next door. Mt Agung is more impressive than can be captured in photos.

The view from our room and access to the wonderful beach were the highlights.

The air conditioner did not regulate temperature. It was either "on" with temperatures getting frigid or "off" with the heat and humidity rising. Our bed had only a thin sheet for cover, so we suffered in the cold till we turned the AC off.

This place is simply stunning ! The views are incredible , the location was fantastic and the room was very comfortable . The shower was good too, it was nice to have hot water! The hosts were lovely and went out of their way to accommodate us.

An amazing Amed experience!

We loved our time here. It’s a small property and we were a larger group so had the place almost to ourselves. The view of Agung right there from the balcony and rooftop is sensational. Snorkelling right out the front was amazing, we saw a turtle on the first day! The rooms were all lovely and it was an easy walk to everything! Loved it.

Beautiful villa with great view but too much noise

Beautiful villa with amazing view. The access right on the Amed Beach. The host was kind and helpful. Beautiful pool. Clean bathroom. Goi breakfast.

It was almost impossible to sleep in the twin beds room. The mattresses had large dips in the middle and were clearly very old — it felt like sleeping in a hammock. The room also had a balcony facing directly onto the street, where scooters passed by until 1–2 AM. It sounded as if we were sleeping outside. The bathroom had no window, but the room had that pointless balcony with an unpleasant view. It might actually be better if that area were walled up — it doesn’t add value, and closing it off could at least reduce the noise coming from outside. Way too much noise overall.

Neat and tidy rooms. Lovely staff.

The beach is right at your back door. Snorkeling was amazing. The colours of the fish, amazing. Took some kayaks out on the water which was great. The beach is black. The water is really dark. It's quite incredible to see. A black beach. We hired a scooter in order to see places that are a little further out. Highly recommend as it is the best way to see everything. The staff were very helpful. The rooms are modest and comfortable. Enjoyed walking to the stores and through the streets. Lots to see.

The bathroom is a little outdated. Could do with a "freshen up". A little more space for suitcases would be ideal, as we used the floor.

Superb

The friendliest staff and best view, perfected with the cooled pool and sun bed area in the shade. Perfect location close to restaurants and the beach, super simple place by the road but really tasty food at Warung Mekar next door for example! Pool towels provided and possibility to borrow sit-on-top-kayak for free. We really liked the breakfast actually! Either they've improved it or the other guest were too picky(?). We appreciated the home-made-style white bread instead of regular plain/sugary white toast bread. Avocado toast was good! Booked transport via the hotel for fair price and good service.

Not a complaint nor a deal breaker for us, but be aware that the twin bed room in the back near the street comes with some traffic noise if you're sensitive to sounds.

Anything was great but Monday snd Friday nights there is very loud live music at next doors beach club. Not the properties fault but something to be aware off.

Superb

Possibly the best view of the mighty Gunung Agung volcano which I saw erupt in Amed back in 2019. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They organised a taxi for me. The breakfast was very nice too. The view from my shower over Gunung Agung was a nice touch. The sea was on your doorstep and the sunrise was amazing from the hotel roof. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Fabulous little villa with spectacular views and awesome snorkelling

Spectacular views from the first floor rooms and from the rooftop area. Awesome snorkelling right in front of the property. Room was clean and spacious and comfortable. Staff were all so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was great. Loads of warungs within walking distance of the villa all serving fantastic freshly cooked meals. Absolutely loved our stay here!

Should've stayed longer than 4 nights.

View from Panorama 1: volcano, sunrise and sunset! Large room and bathroom. Breakfast brought to room at whatever time you like. Staff so happy and helpful. Area . Beachfront warungs in walking distance. Snorkelling straight out from beach. Need water shoes though.

Proximity of power points. Kettle had to be plugged in on bedside table. Lighting in bathroom.
