Nightmare

The location of the park

It was dirty and bedding wasn't clean. But for me the most important was how cold it was the heating didn't work my poor 4 children didn't sleep because they were so cold, we ended up having to put the mattress in the frontroom with all the blankets ( after family had watched them for us ) and all 6 of us huddled together to keep us warm we even slept in our clothes because it was just far to cold. There was damp and mold, even dirty underwear left in the wardrobe. We will never be booking with this place again. We would rather of just slept in our car, it's put the children off going on holiday again they are young children aswell... PLEASE do not book if you have small children, never met staff or anyone couldn't even be contacted

The property wasn’t cleaned and stinking all over we couldn’t stay after we checked in so we booked a aberrant travelodge hotel and stayed there I’ll attach photos of the place so please kindly issue a refund pls

A disappointing stay in an aged and dirty caravan

The unit was easy to find and is tucked away in a quiet corner of the holiday park. If you only want somewhere to put your head at night, then this will do, otherwise we would recommend seeking out a more modern unit elsewhere on the park.

The unit is aged and in need of a good clean. The outside was dirty as were most of the windows. One of the windows has handles missing meaning we had to close it from the outside. Wall coverings are peeling off in places and the walls look like they haven't been cleaned in a while. There is a gas fire in the unit, which in our view should be condemned. The TV appears to have been dropped as there are two black vertical lines down the centre, which made viewing an unpleasant experience. A chair beside the dining table is rusty and needs replacing, as does much of the fixtures and fittings (including the shower door, which did not close properly, leading to large puddles of water forming on the bathroom floor), unless any can be repaired or tided up to look presentable. In summary, this was not good value for money.

Ok for the price we paid

Good location

Bit dated. Roman window latch in the lounge. Boiler broke down but did get sorted promptly. Found dirty underwear in one of the wardrobes.

From sobbing to smiles

We didn't end up staying in this particular caravan because it was so dirty. We contacted the owners and they were very apologetic and said that what had happened was the cleaner had called in sick. They were great and swapped us to a new plot. Very friendly and helpful.

We wouldn't book to stay in this caravan but we would 100% re book the caravan we had been moved too which was a much cleaner, more spacious place. (Number 2 kingsgate)
