Margo Traditional House

Symi ist eine wunderschöne Inselgruppe, die so vieles zu bieten hat. Man muss diesen Ort einfach lieben. Das Haus ist oben auf dem Berg gelegen/Chorio, im eher traditionellen Teil. Hier gibt's noch viele Einheimische, die hier leben, essen und feiern. Der Bus fährt stündlich zum Hafen oder auf die andere Seite nach Pedi und zurück. Pro Strecke 2,50 Euro. Das ist sehr gut, denn die Treppen(350?) der Kalistrata nach oben sind anstrengend. Runter ist es locker, nachts auch beleuchtet. Der Ausblick von oben ist wunderschön. .

Natürlich leben hier Menschen. Es gibt auch einige Kirchen. Es gibt Gottesdienste, Schulen und viele Tavernen. Die Bewohner und Touristen feiern und fahren Mopeds. Normal. Mitunter ist es laut. Aber das gehört zum Leben dazu :-).

We had a brilliant stay at this unique house. Super comfy beds, great balcony to hang out, fully equipped kitchen and a lovely living-room. Spotlessly clean. Located up the hill, it is very close to some fantastic restaurants, a bakery and grocery shop. It’s also near the bus stop for transport up from the harbour or Pedi. Great communication from the host.

Traditional style fitted out to a very high standard. Stayed for two weeks- had all the equipment/ extras needed to make the stay very special. Location was great with easy access to Symi town and Pedi- bus stop only 50 metres away was a bonus. Only 50 metre walk to the top oh the Kali Strata (historic road/ series of stairways), with great restaurants, a baker, butchers and grocery store.

Nothing. Steep stairs to lower level would make the house unsuitable for some people.
