Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Blick bis zum Meer. Zimmer hat genug Platz für 2 große Koffer, bequeme Betten. Es gibt gutes Dinner und das Frühstück ist, je nach dem was man wählt, auch sehr reichhaltig. Obwohl der Pub des Inns direkt bei den Zimmern liegt, bekommt man m.E. nichts mit, obwohl Fußball WM übertragen wurde. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, auch wegen der netten Gastgeber.

Bill Brown was an outstanding host! Helpful, very pleasant and personable and available! And an excellent cook. Try his haddock. Or his lobster.

Nice room!
Initially I thought that it’s being on another island
away from Kirkwall etc would be a disadvantage but that turned out to be one of its most outstanding features; with isolation, quiet, beauty,
pleasant locals, major broch, cairn, two archeological digs, excellent ferry service, etc.
