Well finished cottage with more than adequate facilities for a couple and their dog. Tucked away in a quiet location ideal for visiting Bakewell and surrou ding areas. The off road parking a great benefit in an area otherwise 'challenging' for a motorist.
First impressions are important, the location and views across Bakewell to the golf course and beyond are more than satisfactory and relaxing. The garden furniture dissapointing and not reflective of an otherwise great holiday retreat.

We were due to book in at 3pm but received a whatsapp to say the room was ready by 1pm so we could get in earlier which was appreciated. We never met the hosts in person, only through the one, whatsapp.
Possibly a small shower gel in the shower, and a toilet spray. Not big issues, just some added extras. Also, maybe a long life milk - there was plenty of coffee, tea & sugar but no milk until we walked down to town.
