Lovely cozy weekend away in the centre of Bakewell.

Great location, very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The off streets parking is great too.

fantastic weekend at a lovely cottage in a great location

Great location and lovely cottage . We stayed in January and it was -6 outside but cottage was lovely and warm . No fire but that would of been a bonus. The living area could have done with some sort of door mat as you come straight into the living area .

Fake fireplace (thought this was real from pics) I think it was a little overpriced for 2 nights as it was smaller than expected. Tv in bedroom would be nice.

Perfect

Everything. Perfect for couple with dog. Location was fanstastic, everything was really clean. Comfy bed, comfy sofa, great TV. We saw some comments about a noisy fridge before booking but this must have been sorted as there was a lovely new fridge in the property that didn’t make a noise at all.

Very pretty cottage in centre of Bakewell, very clean, well equipped kitchen , warm and comfortable

It is on a steep hill and has a steep staircase which some people would probably find a problem, we’re an elderly couple but coped with it well

Ideal cosy cottage for visiting Bakewell.

Good location close to town centre with parking. Very convenient and pet friendly.

Framed information on mantlepiece gave wrong wi-fi password. Correct password was on back of router. Caused 15 minutes of unnecessary frustration.

The decoration was beautiful and felt big with high ceilings for a cottage and location was great so easy to find and walk into town

Beautiful property, just right for 2. Very tastefully decorated and presented. Fantastic spot with lovely views only a gentle still from all that Bakewell has to offer. The best and most detailed digital information pack we have ever encountered. Fast, easy, convenient self check in. Really lovely place.

Though not a problem for us the stairs inside the property were quite steep and numerous.

Nice enough place but I’d say overpriced compared to other places we’ve stayed on our two week road trip.

Good location with free parking, 5 minute walk to the centre of Bakewell. Good selection of kitchen utensils.

Fridge really noisy. Blinds,although look lovely, don’t keep the light out in the morning.

The most romantic weekend getaway.

Lovely little cottage perfect for just us 2 on a romantic getaway. Ample parking for 2 cars and excellent location right near the town centre.

May need curtains as well as the shutters in the bedroom due to early sunrise struggled to sleep.

Wonderful and relaxing.

The location of the property was excellent, we could easily walk into town and also having your own parking space was great. The property was very cosy, comfortable sofa. There was everything we could need in the kitchen, including coffee! Bedroom was a lovely size, bed was big and very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had a decent shower over the bath, also liked the lovely big fluffy bath towels! Liked the shutters instead of curtains.

adorable, clean, close to town but quiet, comfy bed. Lambdon Larder down the hill is the bomb for coffee, pastries, sandwiches and the best Bakewell tart in the city!!

Brilliant and relaxing stay in bakewell, would definitely stay again.

Brilliant location, ample and safe parking for 2 cars. Short walk into the town centre. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was really comfy, if their was a TV in there I wouldn't have got out 😀

Wonderful cosy and comfortable

It has the most beautiful view of Bakewell and the surrounding hills, the cottage was very comfortable with everything you could need in the kitchen, the bathroom had a nice deep bath and large fluffy white towels, the bedroom was light and airy with a very cosy double bed the mattress and pillows were really comfortable.

The fridge is noisy and can here it even with the tv on.

At the top of a very steep hill & steep stairs, neither mentioned in the listing makes it very challenging for old persons as we are We wouldn’t have chosen that cottage if we had known

Comfortable cottage in a fantastic location

All furnishings very comfortable; kitchen well equipped; excellent location; and spotlessly clean. It also looked lovely!

Very poor ventilation in the bathroom; unable to open the skylight to let steam out. The blind over the front door had no pull cord, so you had to stand on a chair and wind it up by hand; given that the door can be drafty, replacing the blind with a simple, heavy curtain would be much better.

Felt totally relaxed. It was a great way to start the lead up to Christmas

We enjoyed everything. The location of the house was great for visiting surrounding areas. Chatsworth house was amazing as was Hardwick Hall. Bakewell is a very pretty place.
