    Got a reality check about Bombay and living space when I saw how small the room was for 3-4k tariff but everything was overall comfortable. My initial room had some exhaust noise and the staff immediately changed my room. Room was not the cleanest, I could see some hair strands both in the room and the bathroom. Free breakfast was very limited and they were not ready to make something apart from the fixed menu of that day even with extra payment so keep that in mind. They did allow me to keep my bag with them the next day while I went for meetings and when I returned they even let me use the room for 5 minutes just to change. Overall a good experience. Even the limited breakfast menu was nice but I wish I could eat more things.

    They let me check in 4 hours early, but they asked for quite a lot of money, 1200 rupees (which they pocketed, of course, because there is no such thing as an early check in fee for this place, they just wanted to scam me). I was so tired I just accepted. The room was extremely small, 4 square meters maximum for the bed area. You could see that the room has not been cleaned or used in quite some time, there were lots of cobwebs everywhere, especially in the bathroom. Instead of an AC, there was a big ceiling fan which was quite unhelpful and made a lot of noise. There was a sauna atmosphere in the room, quite humid and the oxygen was not the best. The smell was suffocating. There is no safe in the room. The bathroom was abysmal, besides the fact that there was no hot water, it was really dirty and the shower head was in the middle of the ceiling. No hairdryer, of course. I'd like to think that for this amount of money you could find a better place, but I believe this is the situation in India for all hotels except for the really big chains like Radisson Blue. There are fake reviews for each and every place, be it a hotel or restaurant so be really careful when you do your research.
