Beach front location. Short walk to the beach. Close to restaurants and attractions. Clean and comfortable unit
Asked for early check in (one hour) because I knew we’d be there between 3-4pm. Never got a response from Booking or the property/owner. I understand not honoring an early check in request but someone could have informed me ahead of time so we weren’t standing outside the door waiting for the code to work at exactly 4pm.
The property has a keyed/coded gate to get from the pool to the beach access. No where in the booking confirmation or the validation I did separately was the code to that gate provided. I requested the code from Booking and the property portal, again no response. Luckily there were other guests there that informed us of the code so we could actually access the beach. Wouldn’t you know it, the code to that gate is changed every few days. So we were locked out from the beach, standing outside back where we started on day 3. Fortunately again, another guest informed us of the changed code. Again, no response from Booking or the property when I inquired about the beach gate code. So that was super annoying and frustrating. The other guests said the “code is usually on the back side of the door.” Well, it wasn’t in our room (403) so I’m not sure if this is a property issue/lack of communication or the owner/manager of that specific unit.
