Ruby's Gem Corfu

Wunderschönes Appartement mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend, die Küche hatte alles was man zum Kochen braucht, inklusive Gewürze. Man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett, kümmert sich vorbildlich um ihre Gäste und reagiert unverzüglich auf Fragen. Die Lage ist einzigartig.

Es gibt nichts Negatives.

Staying at Romina's place was a delight from start to finish - in fact the host herself was wonderful before we even got there! Excellent advice and photos were given to guide us to the apartment and she even left us some Greek treats because we arrived too late for dinner. Perfect. The flat was charming, quirky and comfortable, with lovely views towards Vido Island on one side and all the way to the Greek/Albanian mainland from the other window. The huge Super Kingsize bed ensured a good night's sleep and the heaters took away the early Spring chill. In such a historic old building we expected a weak shower, but it was actually fabulous! Location is excellent - you can walk into the old town in ten minutes and along the seafront to the port in about 15. You don't have to go far for food because the Mouragia Taverna is right below! All the traditional Greek favourites are served there and all the seating is outside - although well contained by plastic in the cool months. We cannot recommend Ruby's enough and Romina herself gets the top marks out of everything! You can sense the pride, love and care taken in a family business.
