CASA VERDE

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location in the Old Town. Handy for all the sights and restaurants. Spotlessly clean and furnished nicely. Nice extras such as juice, water, tea and coffee. Excellent communication and such a great idea to send a series of photos to aid arrival (very easy to get lost without it).

The only thing I didn't like and the reason for the slightly lower score was the stairs. Our apartment was on the second floor accessed by a set of steep narrow steps spiralling upwards. Only sections had handrails but not the corners where it was more dangerous. It was hard carrying heavy luggage up especially as my partner has a very bad hip problem. I feel this should have been mentioned in the listings (if it was I missed it but certainly didn't see it) as it would definitely be a problem for anyone arriving with more severe mobility issues. We probably wouldn't have chosen the apartment if we had known about the stairs as it was hard for my partner going up and down.
