About this cottage rental
Lovely old Tregarthen Cottage is situated down a 'no-through' lane in the peaceful hamlet of Portlooe, which is only one mile from the bustling and picturesque Cornish seaside town of Looe, with its many attractions, including a wide sandy beach, an abundance of independent shops, restaurants and cosy pubs.
Your room is totally self-contained with its own own entrance door (lockable) so you can come and go as you wish without disturbance. The facilities include a small kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, microwave, and fridge, together with all crockery and cutlery. Tea and coffee provided. Dining table with two chairs. Comfortable double sofabed with all bed linen and pillows. 43" smart TV with Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. Amazon Echo Smart Speaker. Strong wifi signal. Separate shower room and toilet, with towels, bath robes and shower gels. There is a small private courtyard where you can sit outside if you wish, accessed through French doors inside your room. Free parking just outside the cottage, with an EV charger available for your use if you require. (Low rate of just 7p/kwh). Portlooe is perfectly situated to explore parts of beautiful Cornwall. The nearby coastal path has spectacular views of the coast line, particularly on the walk to the charming fishing village of Polperro.

Steve is so welcoming and friendly and he and Julie made me feel so at home. I stayed here over Christmas and Looe is so beautiful with the festive lights. Everything you could need in the room, lovely and warm, very clean. Coffee sachets and teabags. Comfy sofa bed. Big screen tv on the wall with free Netflix and Prime. WiFi. Nice thick towels, a bath robe, shower gels, plenty of toilet rolls, washing up bowl with liquid, scourer, dishcloth and tea towel. Beautiful ensuite shower room with a heated towel rail. A real home from home. I loved watching the birds and the squirrel on the feeders in the courtyard. Lovely to look up at the stars through the skylights and it’s so dark at night they are really clear. Very peaceful location, a mile up the hill by foot from West Looe or easy to drive into Looe, Polperro or Pelynt. Your own parking space. I wouldn’t hesitate to book to come here again. Thank you for the chocolates too.
