The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished though possibly a bit cramped for 2 people. The heating warmed the room quickly but was very noisy. It's a pleasant quiet area but when there is any noise you can hear it, including anything happening in adjacent rooms. The stairs are very steep. It's a little odd having no staff on a desk, you just get a key from a lock box.

Easy access to the road for our road trip. We were disappointed by the phone call trying to stress us about arrival time; it was 6pm, latest option was 8pm…
Cleanliness was mixed; clean en-suite and very good shower. Major dust between me and the plug socket beside the bed for phone charging. Overall ok, would use again if passing.
