Description:
Enjoy a classic coastal escape in this clean and comfortable two-story home located just a short walk from the sand and surf. Featuring three bedrooms, a loft, and two full baths, this thoughtfully designed retreat offers two large open decks, three screened porches, and a private second-floor master suite with a partial ocean view.

Ideal for families and small groups, the home includes spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, a well-equipped kitchen with adjacent dining space that seats six, and a cozy layout for relaxing after a day at the beach. Guests can opt to purchase Sea Colony recreation passes, granting access to world-class amenities including private beaches, 12 pools (2 indoor), tennis, fitness centers, and more.

Sleeping arrangements include one king bed and a trundle in the master suite, two twin beds in each of the other two bedrooms, and a trundle in the loft, sleeping up to eight guests comfortably.

The kitchen includes central air, microwave, toaster, blender, standard coffee maker, dishwasher, washer, dryer, and iron/board. Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi and enjoy entertainment on five cable TVs and two DVD players.

Outdoor amenities include an enclosed outdoor shower, gas grill, multiple screened porches, and open decks with comfortable seating. Two parking spaces are available; parking on grass or patio is not permitted.

This is a non-smoking home. The fireplace is not operational. Guests must be 25 years or older to rent. Saturday-to-Saturday and flexible bookings (3+ nights) are available. Linens and towels can be provided for $220. Additional fees and taxes may apply.

Optional Sea Colony recreation passes are available for $50 per person (ages 5 and up) and offer access to private beach areas, 12 heated pools (including 2 indoor), and top-rated tennis and fitness facilities. Sea Colony is ranked among the top 20 tennis camps in the world, with year-round programs, USTA tournaments, and clinics for all levels.

Located just south of downtown Bethany Beach, this home is part of Sea Colony – The Premier Family Beach and Tennis Community – offering a refined yet relaxed beach vacation experience.

What if I have to cancel?
In the event Guest requests cancellation of this Agreement for any reason, Broker will undertake reasonable efforts to re-rent the Property. Guest must make the request for cancellation in writing to the attention of Broker. If the Property is rented to a third party for the same amount, the gross rent will be returned to the defaulting Guest less 15% of the gross rent, plus a processing fee. If the Property is rented for less, Guest shall be responsible for the difference. If the Property is not rented to a third party, then the defaulting Guest will remain responsible for the entire rental amount.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was an easy process and the access to the beach was what we really wanted and we couldn't be more happy. It was also so accessible to the boardwalk in an easy walk. The many decks of the house gave us all some space and the kitchen had good tools and pots and pans. There was also an assortment of books and games which we also enjoyed. Check in and check out was seamless as well as the rented linens.I've rented from Wilgus before and will again, Thank you for a memorable family vacation.

The home is just a few houses away from the beach so a very short walk and it less than a half mile to downtown Bethany. You can get access to Sea Colony beaches, pools, gyms, and courts if for a fee. We usually stay in Sea Colony condos and decided to give a house a try. This one worked out perfectly for our family of seven. The house has a decent amount of living space, wonderful screened porches and decks, and ample parking. It's got fairly basic finishes and could use some new carpeting, but otherwise it was perfectly fine for a week at the beach.

The house was pleasantly surprising, as we had never stayed there before. Our expectations were low, as we booked the house in late March, only after learning that the Sea Colony condo that we rented for years was unavailable due to a a fire. The house more than met our needs, as it was spacious and cozy. Extra sleeping space allowed additional family members to stay with us. The numerous outdoor seating areas gave us plenty of options to enjoy the outdoors either as a group or individually.We would stay there again but would like to see updated side and rear decking, as the old wooden boards are a splinter hazard. Also, lack of air conditioning in the two first-floor bedrooms made for extremely hot sleeping conditions. There was also a persistent musty/mildewy smell that was a bit off-putting.However, overall it was a very good experience and were happy with our stay.
