80 Filey Road - 2 bed first floor apartment with sea views and parking

There was nothing at all that we didn't like

It is a lovely apartment, high ceilings and very light and bright. There really are excellent sea views and a juliette balcony. I really liked the kitchen area. It was great to have two bathrooms, especially with one having a walk in shower. The whole apartment seemed spacious. There was lots of hot water and the whole place was well appointed. It was warm- too warm initially but you can turn it down. The communication from the owners was excellent. A lovely location close to South Cliff.

There is only one parking spot on site. We went seperately as 2 couples, with 2 cars. I appreciate that there is only one garage space with the property, but we were of limited mobility, and with no roadside parking, we had to park on a street further away. When it said parking was available, I felt there would be options to park close by. However, we managed, and there is a very wide pavement, which means you can drive right up to the property to unload. It wouldn't stop me booking again, but forewarned is forearmed. The key box outside was extremely difficult to open- watch your nails! It is difficult to access as well due to overhanging shrubbery. There was only one pillow each and no extras. Could have done with more pillows.

The facilities were great and the book as a welcome was great and the place was immaculate in regards to cleaning except the outside balcony door which was mouldy from the outside

The central heating did not work. I reached out to the owner but no response in regards to that

Location was lovely. Car is needed to get to the centre and beaches. Fantastic sea view! Lovely, light and spacious apartment. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen, spacious and well equipped with wonderful sea view! Good sized lounge also with sea view. Private parking. Jon at the property management was on hand and helpful to deal with queries.

Unable to use the bath and shower in the main bathroom and also no heating, as the boiler wasn´t working. Was going to be fixed when we left as they were awaiting a part. There is an ensuite available in one of the bedrooms with an electric shower.
