Smart flat in a great location.

Great location and a lovely flat. Chris met us at 4pm on the dot and showed us round. Everything we needed was there. All mod cons inside and all lovely, clean and comfortable. Only needed it to sleep as we were out all day, but was a nice place. Private parking was definitely a bonus.

Was a little noisy during the night and early morning, could hear people walking around the other flats but to be expected. We had no hot water on the last morning but we were going so not really a problem and I feel it would have been sorted straight away if reported as nothing seemed too much to ask from the owner.

Great place to stay

The apartment was beautiful! We loved the decor and furnishings. We were surprised by how big the apartment was, really spacious. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable so we slept well although my daughter in the upstairs bedroom was kept awake by the sound of the rain on the skylight windows. Chris was excellent, he rang to check on our arrival, met us at the apartment when we arrived and showed us into the apartment and explained everything including how to use the heating. When we left we just sent him a text and left the keys in the apartment. The private parking spot was a real added bonus.

Not a criticism,more of a suggestion, the upstairs bedroom needs a mirror for doing hair etc.

WAVE GOODBYE TO STRESS

The initial contact with Chris, who showed us the apartment and gave his own unmistakable love of Scarborough and the immediate surroundings set a favourable first impression. The rest of the holiday was about whether we made the most of a fabulous seaside resort and all of it's beauty.

It's be very picky if I mentioned anything because the apartment and the location suited our needs.

The banister to the top bedroom was a bit loose. One of the chairs was held together with string. The fan in the top bedroom was very dusty. I actually cleaned it myself before use. However these were minor things...the rest made up for it!

Very enjoyable 2 night stay in this lovely spacious and clean apartment.

The location was excellent for reaching all the amenities of the south bay and Chris made us very welcome upon our arrival. We loved the private parking, layout of the spacious apartment with two bathrooms giving privacy and convenience. There was a nice view from the lounge of the church opposite and blue skies even. The kitchen was well equipped and we were pleased to find some basics for our use. The lift was very useful as although we usually take the stairs we did have a bit of baggage on this occasion. We both remarked that we would definitely want to come again and agreed it would be hard to find this level of cleanliness plus location and space with good value.

Luckily we brought our own shower soap or else we might have had to go to the shop. Perhaps just an oversight but having some gift toiletries (shower gel) is a necessary. The fan in the downstairs bathroom was not working and needs attention otherwise congratulations on providing a lovely 2 night stay.

Chris met us in the car park, took us up to the apartment and showed us round, and explained how everything worked.

Chris the best Host

Our experience was lovely, very neat apartment. Chris was an intentional host, always available to assist. For the apartment, Chris was detailed with everything, from the entrance right to the littlest thing. He made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. Chris! We'll be coming back to Scarborough soon. We enjoyed it very much and would happily return.

Lots of space, clean, comfortable, lovely large beds, light, great view. Host was very helpful and we knew he was there if we had any queries (which we didn't). Really nice to have a dishwasher available. The location was just right for us - near enough to central area and further out with a nice walks but also in a quiet and pleasant area. Lovely to be near St Martin's Church with not only Pre Raphaelite windows and art related links, but a very nice cafe too. We had a lovely and very comfortable time.

Bit disappointed the oven didn't seem to work. Didn't need to pursue it as hob and microwave ended up being as much as we needed.

Pleasant short break at a very sunny Scarborough.

Location of apartment is about 15 minute walk to central Scarborough and five minutes to the promenade via cliff tram. Great off road parking in numbered space. Lift to all floors of the building ( Apt 17 is on 3rd floor). Spacious apartment with livingroom/kitchen/ bedroom and bath/shower room all on entry level. There is another bedroom with en-suite on the upper floor. Everything is there to be able to self cater if you fancy eating in. Beds are comfortable and water pressure is good for shower. Chris met us to hand over keys and show us around the aprtment. Nice guy.

This is our second time at this apartment. It is a little tired in some areas ( kitchen could do with a wee refresh for instance) but other areas have been improved since last year ( downstairs shower room for instance). Keep up the good work Chris.)

Scarborough Fair

Met at the property after arranging an early check-in. Shown round by Chris, very helpful. The one thing that was disappointing was the water was on a timer, so plenty in the morning, but none in the evening, so had to play around with timers and switches to get any hot water after a long day out and wait . Overall we enjoyed it

Could of easily been a score of 10!

The location of the property was excellent just 5 minutes walk to the South Bay & the Scarborough Spa where we attended an event New Years Eve. The cliff lift was also working until early hours of the morning which is normally the case if concerts & events at the Scarborough Spa. We had a space organised in the private car park plus another which Chris the host kindly organised as we took two cars with us. He was very friendly & good at explaining the apartment which was a good space for the four of us The beds were very comfortable so we all had a good nights sleep, the twin room had bigger beds than normal singles which were great.

A few niggles as a couple we went with two friends who shared the twin bedroom and we had the double upstairs which had a mezzanine floor but no privacy because there wasn't a door seperating the bedroom from the rest of the apartment. There wasn't a mirror above the sink in the double & it was a little difficult with an handheld mirror drying & styling your hair, it could of done with a dressing table in front of the mezzanine frame. We also had a bit of trouble clasping the blinds in the double as it took 3 of us to do it!! The bathrooom downstairs which our friends were going to use only had a bath with shower over taps, it could of done with a shower screen & proper attached shower overhead. You may want to take your own towels as they were a bit thin & small! If these few things were looked into by the owners then the apartment would be fantastic & worth the rating of 10

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location for accessing the centre of Scarborough. Great to have a parking spot. Exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed. Loved having 2 bathrooms. Perfect stay and will book here again.

Long walk to the centre ( around 30 minutes walk) Wasn’t cleaned up to standard ( toast crumbs all over the worktop, dish drainer was absolutely filthy ( couldn’t use it to put our washed dishes on, very unhygienic to do so) Fridge was dirty The sink tap in the shower room was very dirty I did not think it was very safe for a family with young children to stay there( the area) Too expensive for what we paid

Couldn't have asked for more. Updated to a very high standard, with all amenities and Chris was as welcoming as you could possibly want.
