It was hard to get the keys as you couldn’t park outside the letting shop. Only thing I can think of.

Great

Everything was great. Mattresses too hard but one night was fine. It said 3 beds not a small double and bed settee. Luckily 3 women of which 2 were mother and daughter so they slept together. Everything we needed and a great stay.

The instructions no matter how many times we read them, for getting the keys were very difficult. Finding the key box was really hard. Once found after 30 mins it was easy. Just around the corner, it wasn't. Opposite the pizza hut, it was next to. Didn't know where pizza hut was and that particular road.

Everything was spot on.

Would have preferred to of known before hand that the second bedroom is very small and only has a cot bed in but that didn’t effect our stay.

Home from home

This was a great holiday flat which was well equipt for the family. Clean and comfortable with fresh laundered bedding and towels. And a great location walking distance to beach. Hosts are great. Would recommend to others. Thankyou

Tidy apartment not too far from the centre and easy to find the location and access to the apartment

Fridge wasn't working but rang the number provided who said would send maintenance however wasn't fixed before we left but was okay as only staying over night and only had drinks in the fridge

Perfect location for the beach, nice size for a family of 4. Finding the sugar and tea in the cupboard was a morning life saver 😊😊 really friendly caretaker in number 21.

Lovely, clean, apartment. Key pick up & drop off was easy. Parking available straight outside & a permit was left for us in the apartment by the hosts. Great stay. I would definitely stay again. Thanks 😊

Comfortable and cosy stay

Comfortable bed and sofa. Clean apartment and toilet. Easy contactless check in and out.

It was a little bit harder to find using Google Maps as the entrance was slightly hidden on the sideways. Google Maps only led us to the building. However, the owner answered the phone promptly and guided us there with no issues.

Very minor but no cleaning cloths to wipe surfaces after cooking, needs a rug in living area to make it a little more cosier.

Very poor value.

The first apartment was very poor so we were moved to another apartment which was better but it had not been cleaned fully, tiles were lose, limited hot water, needed a refurbishment.

The first apartment was just dreadful - dirty and carpet and blankets were left rolled up and stored in the second bedroom. The doors on the first bedroom were not fixed properly and were loose - very dangerous. There was a smell in the room.

Location good.

My husband is 6foot 3 and the bed was too short. Very dark inside .Have stayed in easby Hall on the first floor and in my opinion they are a lot nicer.Had trouble locating the key , but may be we didnt read instructions properly

Things in the kitchen need upgrading replacing. Toaster didnt work properly , knives were blunt , freezer didnt seem to be working properly. Mismatch of crockery and glasses. Simple to resolve ?

Short break in Scarborough

Handy location for getting into town. Comfortable with plenty of space for the three of us.

No major dislikes although the blinds were a bit grubby and a couple of slats were broken. But the flat had everything we needed for our short stay and we loved Scarborough.

The bed in the bedroom comfortable and a nice big bathroom.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The freezer needed defrosting badly and a broken blind in the bedroom that let light in .

Family stay

Location was great

Main bedroom mattress wasn’t the best, due to preference,apparently flat has deep clean due to Covid but found last residents underwear & socks in bedside drawer, also small room had sweet wrappers on floor under desk, Mirror was very dusty & spillage over it. Unacceptable under current Covid situation,apart from cleaning issue, great location & well appointed, parking space can be an issue if our late.

cozy and comfortable stay.

The apartment was ideal for a small family to use for sleeping and showering, if we were staying in all day then we would required a larger living area and two bedrooms. Our 5year old and 3yr old slept on the sofa bed in the living area. the apartment was very cozy. bed was comfortable, bedroom had loads of storage to put our belongings away. host was great at informing us where the keys would be and advised us about local shops, also made us aware there was spare pillows, blankets and mattress for the sofa bed. kitchen and bathroom had essentials like cleaning products and towels, toilet rolls, bleach and bin bags, we always take our own just in case. bathroom was a nice decent size and clean. kitchen also had all the cutlery and dishes provided to cook and eat a meal.

i was not happy about the cleanliness of the kitchen and floors. worktops were filthy, there was dirt all over the kitchen bin and near it. floors were sticky and dirty. skirting board in kitchen had stains splattered on it. pipe under the sink was leaking which was spilling out onto the floor. i had to wash every piece of cutlery we used as it was not scrubbed properly before putting away. . The apartment needs a deep clean. considering booking.com take £60 to clean it, they really could of made an effort with the kitchen as it is only very small and modern so would be easy to clean. though the shower screen was up fully in the bathroom, so much water kept falling out of the bath all on the bathroom floor. when we arrived we assumed hot water would be on all day so when we were showering our children by the time we got t o the 2nd child the hot water ran out. once we read the booklet it was fine. we did not use the washing machine provided, had mould in the compartments and inside the machine, usually see this in most places though we go to stay. also would of been nice to be provided with sachets of tea, coffee, sugar and uht milk.

Excellent accommodation

The apartment was clean tidy and had everything you could possibly need. Close to the beach and very attentive hosts. Excellent place to stay.

Very good

Location was great, host was excellent and resolved any issues immediately, near to a Sainsbury’s so we could pickup bits we needed, very quiet and parking permit worked well, never had an issue finding a space.

Nothing really, only issue we had was not receiving instructions from booking.com to collect the keys but as soon as we phoned host he gave us instructions over the phone and we collected the keys without a problem.
