Hidden Paradise Athens

The house was very nice!! Clean and welcoming, We enjoyed the fenced in yard for our GSD's. We appreciated the fact they didn't put restrictions on their weight!! The house was nicely stocked with essentials.

The grass wasn't mowed. Because of the rain. There was some broken glass. We didn't like the homeless people living on the other side of the back fence. But there isn't anything to do about it, and they DIDN'T bother us!!

AMAZING property! Beautifully decorated and equipped. Comfortable bedrooms. Every detail thought through to make your stay comfortable. Big backyard with furniture. Pet friendly and the private backyard was awesome!

Location requires a car to move around Athens, but is easy to get to.

Very clean and spacious with excellent facilities. Great value, Easy parking. Wonderful hosts. Exactly as described.

The Christmas decorations were cute and I liked the size of the fridge! Nothing else.

The kitchen was not fully stocked, missing several regular kitchen items that made it difficult to prepare meals. We had to purchase EVERYTHING which made the value of the house go even further down and our trip more expensive than it should have been. The television also cuts off randomly in both rooms while watching movies. Which was very annoying and made it difficult to enjoy quality family time. Cosmetic damages to the house especially the master bedroom door made me feel like I wasn't in the cute and luxury home that was advertised. Lots of ant hills in the back yard also which took away from the overall appeal of the fenced-in yard and my three small children put at risk for being bitten by fire ants. No fire wood whatsoever was available for the fire pit so my husband had to scavenge the streets to find tree branches so we could at least have a small fire and make smores together as a family. Overall our Thanksgiving holiday was thrown off completely by us staying here because of how lacking the property was in reality. Has lots of potential but it seems nobody cares about the home as much as they should. All the pretty decorations doesn't hide the fact that there was something wrong in every single room.
