Ideal lodge however, as there is a washing machine it would be helpful if there was a washing line we had to hang clothes over the fence

The caravan we stayed in was a beautiful, clean, quiet, and idyllic view of goose lake from the balcony. The wildlife was incredible, ducks, geese, and swans. It is quite far from the venue but that was perfect for us, a short drive and plenty of parking near all the activities. The owner was very helpful throughout. She was on hand for any information needed and always polite. The park itself is a little run down in some areas but I was told by staff that they are on phase 1 of a 4 phase refurb. I can only imagine how much more beautiful it will be. We can not wait to go back.

Quiet location overlooking lake so was lovely watching the geese and ducks carry on with their day. Had air conditioning which was definitely needed as it was in the thirties. Having a dishwasher was great. The shower was lovely and powerful. Overall a nice stay.

Lack of attention to detail when cleaning. Part of a pizza box under the fridge, bedroom draws had 2 pairs of boxer shorts while other draws/wardrobe had empty light bulb packaging/bits of silver foil from a pill packet/general bits and crumbs. Patio table hadn't been cleaned and the railings around the caravan were thick of cobwebs that weren't recent. Quite alot of bird poo on the drive. A file with information in would be handy. We didn't find the sheets etc for the sofa bed until the second day. Got stuck in the main bathroom twice as the door jams so we ended up not being able to shut it. Communication was a message with the key code and no response to my question.

Very enjoyable stay. Lodge in lovely quiet location. Furniture and condition of lodge in very good conditions. Air Con very useful in the hot weather. Good to have all cooking equipment including air fryer, bedding and towels provided.

Fridge needed cleaning. Outside furniture and fencing around decking needed to cleaned to get rid of cobwebs before arrival of guests. Lack of information with regard to how to book day tickets and swimming activity. Only found out from guest services that we could have booked these well in advance on line before arrival. Checking TV remote devices. 4 in lodge but only one was working
